Jaguar XKR-S To Debut At 2011 Geneva Auto Show

Jaguar will be unveiling the latest iteration of their most potent performance car, the Jaguar XKR-S at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. According to the news coming in from the automotive circuit, the latest XKR-S will be a revised and refurbished model. The latest Jaguar XKR-S will come at US car dealers this fall and will be offered as a 2012 model.

Speaking on the latest Jaguar XKR-S, the British automaker, which now is owned by Indian auto major Tata Motors, said that this latest edition of XKR-S not only will be the fastest Jaguar ever, but also will be the most nimble, driver-focused and most agile.”

Though, Jaguar has refused to give any details on Jaguar XKR-S before the car is unveiled publicly, but we’ve heard that the new Jaguar XKR-S will be powered by a supercharged 5.0 ltr V8 engine, which has been developed to generate maximum power of 550 hp and 502 lbs-ft of maximum torque. It’s also said that the latest XKR-S will accelerate from 0 to 60 in 4.2 secs, and will be having a top speed of 186 mph.

The US variant of the 2011 Jaguar XKR-S will get its power from a more sober variant of the same engine, and will be generating maximum power of 510 hp and 461 lb-ft.
